Been trying for a while now to figure out if building a Power BI report for Chile data on COVID-19 was worth it with everything going around. Luckily, I got to do it with the data publish by the Ministry of Science and Technology. The Chilean government has been incredibly open to report and share the data regarding their COVID-19 efforts, so I saw this as an opportunity to share some of the work I’ve been doing for the last 5 years and help everyone to understand the data a little bit better.
So, without further ado, here it is. For now, it only has a summary page (“resumen”) and a nice tooltip for each region of Chile with details on each “comuna”.
Planning of adding pages for each of the data categories the government is publishing data on but wanted to get this out and get as much feedback as I could from both Power BI experts and my country men and women that would benefit the most from this.
Let me know what you think and in the hopefully near future I’ll blogging about how I built this since I encountered some roadblocks which will result in some nice tips and tricks, if the kids let me be for a minute and half!
